The World's First 50,000 Colour Silk Saree
 
Hamsa Damayanthi Hamsa Damayanthi

A combination of skills of the traditional kanchi weaver with French tapestry technique is used to faithfully reproduce the famous painting in the pallu portion. This is a tribute to the Royal Painter, Raja Ravi Varma on his 150th anniversary. It contains 26 different colour tones and nearly 80 colour threads to recreate the original colours of the painting. It takes two skilled weavers about four months to weave this saree with one hundred thousand knots. Truly a masterpiece!

Aiswariya Pookkal

Traditional Silk Saree that captures the grandeur of the architecture of the famous Padmanabhapuram Palace, the seat of the Travancore Royalty. The pallu has an exquiste display of sari work with 90 different flowers based on the ceiling of Poo Mukham or entrance of the palace.
